What belongs to whom
- Every bhajan and chant recording on this site is original music by Shivay.app. © Shivay.app. All rights reserved.
- The retellings of the stories, the translations, the commentary, the artwork and the design of the site also belong to Shivay.app.
- The original Sanskrit verses and scriptures are everyone's inheritance; we claim nothing over them.
What you may do
- Listen to the music on this site, and use it for your own japa and prayer.
- Share a link to any page or bhajan.
- Quote a few lines of our retellings or translations, with credit and a link to shivay.app.
Not without written permission
- Downloading, copying or re-uploading the audio files anywhere else (YouTube, Spotify, reels, apps or other websites).
- Using the music in a video, advertisement, app, event or any commercial work.
- Altering, remixing or sampling the music, or presenting it as your own.
- Using the music or the text to train an AI model.
- Embedding or hot-linking our audio files on another website.
Permission and reports
- Would you like to use a recording for a temple, a satsang, a school or another good cause? Write to us — we are usually glad to say yes.
- If you see our music used elsewhere without permission, or believe something on this site infringes your own rights, please tell us.
